Well, my phone is finally charged and online again so I am officially back =) We had two amazingly fun weeks with this insane cirkus, and everyone involved has been great to us - we will look back on this ride with smiles on our faces. =) And ok, it did suck to lose a little, but there are some positive things to focus on. We did good, we didn't compromise and still we delivered and reached people, touched quite a few. That's important. We lost to the one who would prove to be the winner of our entire round, so she obviously had very strong support, and that's just beyond our control - we did our part. I was personally sad to see Pauline and Orsa leave, the finale would have needed their songs and originality - but I am still very glad to see Jessica win. She is a true queen all categories. I thought for sure that she would go straight to the finale from our first round a month back, and dude she is good! She has delivered without the slightest slip or hesitation every single rehearsal, and the song itself is strong too. A bit on the slow side though (just kidding)! =-D We have had a crash course in media training too - I hope none of our Swedish fans believed a word of what the press claimed that we had said (or been drinking), but everyone who knows us will realize that instantly so I am not that worried. They just didn't care whether people got hurt, sad or misrepresented. Guess their mothers didn't teach them to be nice to people (or they simply taught them to be nice to people unless you get a job where you get paid NOT to be nice to people, which would be even worse, don't you think?). =) Signing off, going to bed, surely failing to sleep...

Tomorrow is the big day - Andra Chansen in Melodifestivalen. We are facing Pernilla Wahlgren in our first duel and our chances are slim at best - she is a pretty and charming artist with a long history in the Swedish schlager scene. And she makes it into a fight between schlager puritans/conservatives and modern music reformists. She is one of the two artists expected to win, while we have 1 to 75 odds in the betting. Still, in an Aftonbladet poll, she won over us with a mere 51 to 49 percentage, so every single vote will make a difference. I usually don't want to meddle with people's opinions and actions but hey, if you are hanging in the balance and you like the song - give us a vote. Help us prove that feeling and content counts in this plastic society! Contest starts at 20.00h Saturday and we are the first artist in the first duel, which effectively means our participation might end five minutes into the show. The Swedish press still pretty much neglects us so we can only rely on our song and the hearts it reaches

You say love is divine. Well baby, so is mine. See, the only time I hear you take the name of the Lord, is when you're tied to the bed with your face against the headboard. So, do you take it in vain? Then why would you take it again and again? - Curiosity (Road Salt 1 - Ivory) -- Damn, my philosophical poetry just reaches new levels of wisdom for each album!

thinks the Release Party was a blast! Fans from at least 14 countries showed up, and together broke The Cave's audience record - sweet! We had a fun time, and the crowd was very supportive and warm through the whole evening, at the end of which I talked to a lot of nice fans for more than an hour. And hey, that Mortar Grind drink was wonderful!

hated giving up the US tour. I am not very skilled in the art of giving up and do not accept failure too readily, I simply do not know how to quit. Is this year trying to teach me how to? I never really learned how to bend to stay unbroken, and yet every year finds me feeling more and more bent out of shape. How can my weaknesses leave me this strong? ...how can my strengths leave me this weak...?

leaves the studio with a smile on his face. The image processing of this week included freezing rockstars in 5 degree swamp water, rockstars dressed in skirts, naked rockstars in windows and a lot more. I just love my job! :)

is back and alive after a three day photo session trip to Dalarna for the new album. I have climbed rocks, dressed in skirts, waded through 5 degree swamp water (in before mentioned skirt), submerged myself in before mentioned swamp water (4 x shampoo + 2 x conditioner recommended) and been sitting stark naked in the window of a deserted old house. Temperature was 11-14 degrees, but we were warmed up by the gypsy...
